Role Purpose :
To oversee and manage the procurement function to ensure that the business acquires goods, services, and resources in the most efficient, cost-effective, and timely manner, while also maintaining high quality and compliance standards.
Responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies and plans, policies, and procedures that align with the business overall strategy and objectives
To assist the MD in developing and deliver long-term strategic growth with suitable Procurement and Overall Business Strategies.
Qualifications :
Minimum bachelor degree educated in Economic, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or others similar major.
Have acquired knowledge of procurement, import sourcing, local sourcing, strategic sourcing, operational sourcing, commodities trading, etc.
Knowledge and understanding of Coats Global strengths, offers, IT systems
Minimum 5 years business experience in Coats or similar business(es) involving modern supply chain and production capabilities.
Extensive network with local partners and suppliers.
Experience negotiating/liaising with suppliers.
Experience in developing budgets and controlling costs.
Experience in building teams and creating positive and productive work environments
Superior communication and presentation skills and the ability to coach and develop to build capability.
Self-starter with good communication skills
Proficiency in English both speaking and writing
Self-motivated and eager for improvements.
Willing to placement in Bogor, West Java.
Key Activity :
Supplier Selection, Evaluation and Management: Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, conducting supplier negotiations, and establishing contracts that ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods and services.
Compliance & Ethics.
Cost Management: Monitoring and analyzing procurement costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing measures to achieve cost efficiency and procurement saving without compromising quality.
Continuous Improvement & Sustainability
Risk Management: Identifying and assessing potential risks associated with the procurement process, such as supply chain disruptions, and developing strategies to mitigate those risks.
Team management: Develop the team structure, manage team members’ performance and development plan to ensure the procurement team have the right capability and resource to deliver required outcome
